Developing a Water Science Strategy (WSS) for B.C. is a commitment in Living Water Smart: BC’s Water Plan. Developing a WSS is a collaborative process with multiple partners to produce a strategy that can be used by organizations across the province to facilitate the exchange of water related knowledge between those that create and hold this knowledge and those that use it to make decisions, support policy development and create operational procedures.
For more information on what the BC WSS may include, download the discussion paper [PDF 852KB].
Input from the BC Water Symposium, as well as comments from an advisory group, will be used to generate a framework for the WSS by 2014.
